Note to readers: I have assumed a few things about the Battlezone storyline – that a section of the NSDF was lost in transit and that bio-metal was kept absolutely secret (though that agrees with Battlezone's manual, in that the next president of the USA was not to know of the whole bio-metal fiasco), so neither Stargate Command or Area 51 know of the real space race.
